Property Management

As commercial property specialists, we manage a considerable portfolio throughout the country, which means we have the experience of all aspects of property management. This includes invoicing and collection of rent, issuing financial statements, overseeing and inspecting properties on a regular basis to ensure compliance with terms of lease, carrying out rent reviews and lease renewals, as well as the management and collection of rent, and / or service charge monies.

We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which ensures we comply with strict financial regulations and offer full financial accountability, together with the appropriate insurance. We also provide an advisory service for service charge levels and estate management, to meet client requirements.


Providing accurate valuations is vital in the sale and rental of commercial property and land. Our highly qualified and experienced valuation team undertakes valuation reports for a variety of purposes, ranging from marketing appraisals, to full secured lending reports for bank finance.

Our surveyors are Registered Valuers of the RICS.

Rent Reviews & Lease Renewals

We offer rent reviews as part of our commercial lease service. We have experience in representing both Landlords and Tenants in commercial rent reviews and offer an accurate appraisal of the marketplace and the potential outcome relating to a specific rent review.

This enables our clients to make a qualified judgement on the most appropriate course of action, be this serving formal notice on a break clause, or appointing a surveyor to represent the company in a rent review or a renewal of a lease.

Compulsory Purchase & Compensation

Many local authorities, statutory bodies and private clients call on our services to advise and negotiate on all aspects of compulsory purchase and compensation.

This often involves acquiring land or property or obtaining right of access. Our aim is to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible, providing our client with the reassurance that we are acting in their best interests at all times.

Expert Witness / Dispute Resolution

We offer an expert witness service in dispute resolutions relating to commercial land or property, where cases are referred to court or to an independent arbitrator to make a judgement on a contentious issue.

This may range from a rent review, lease renewal or valuation issue. We have been involved in a number of cases of this nature and have experience in preparing evidence and submissions for court and also attending such hearings on behalf of clients.

Business Rates

Second to rental, business rates are generally the highest regular outgoing that most businesses have to pay. It is no wonder then that many businesses use our services to assess the rateable value of the property they occupy.

Occupants have the right to appeal against their rateable value at any time, which means it can be worth investing in an appraisal of your property’s current value, as significant savings can often be made with a successful appeal. Our service includes undertaking initial appraisals through to submitting formal appeals involving negotiations with valuation officers. The rating of commercial property is reviewed on a five yearly basis.
